Coefficient of thermal expansion

The coefficient of thermal expansion is the range of resistive to heat before it is deformed, it depends on the material.
Example: Apparent deformation can also be very useful for measurement purposes, to calculate the coefficient of thermal expansion αm

Geometry
Noun
Part of mathematics that studies extension, how to measure it, the relationships between points, lines, angles, planes and figures, and how they are measured.
Example: It is the theoretical basis for descriptive geometry or technical drawing.

Heat dissipation
Phrase
The heat sink is actually a heat exchanger, extracting heat from one fluid and transferring it to another.
Example: Aluminum and copper are used mainly in tube and fin heat sinks, although we can also find plate exchangers made of this material.

Heat flux

It is a flow of energy per unit area per unit time. In SI, its units are watts per square meter (W⋅m − 2). It has a direction and a magnitude, so it is a vector quantity. To define the heat flux at a certain point in space, one takes the limiting case where the size of the surface becomes infinitely small.
Example: Measurement of heat flow can be done in different ways. A commonly known, but often impractical, method is performed by measuring a temperature difference over a piece of material with known thermal conductivity.

Thermal transition

They are changes that take place in a polymer when you heat it.
Example: Polymeric materials are characterized by two main types of transition temperatures - the crystalline melting temperature Tm (or crystalline melting point) and the glass transition temperature Tg.
